Little Hummingbirds acknowledges that we are on Treaty 6 territory, the traditional lands of the nêhiyawak (Cree), Anishinaabe (Saulteaux), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, Dene, and Nakota Sioux peoples. This land, known as ᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ (amiskwacîwâskahikan/Edmonton), has been a meeting ground and home for Indigenous peoples since time immemorial.
